Even though there were many setbacks in 2019 we stayed focused on our mission. All of our animal assisted programs are delivering on their objectives, we set at the beginning of the year. We hope that this won’t change and will result in impacting over 10,000 people in need. So let’s check-in on our performance thus far…to date this year, we’ve delivered 1,046 animal assisted therapy or activity sessions, free-of-charge. As a result, we’ve reached 3,249 seniors and children with disabilities.
But first, let us share our June impact with you.
15 Therapy Dogs In Schools in St. Louis delivered 21 sessions across 8 facilities and impacted the lives of 232 students with disabilities
Manny, the 1 FUR 1 Ambassadors provided 1 visits in LA County to 20 seniors with disabilities.
2 Therapy Mini Horses in San Diego helped over 2 children with with Autism.
8 Court Dogs In Action in Michigan provided assistance to 201 crime victims and family members which includes 35 court hearings, forensic interviews, counseling and other community engagements.
Lastly but most importantly, we want to thank everyone involved with the Dog Party Day event. Because of the loving support we received from all the party goers and vendors we’ll be able to launch a new partnership later this year. So please let us know if you want to volunteer with us and help us expand our mission. Click here to start helping animals and the people you need them as part of the healing journey.
