1FUR1’s December impact was lower than previous month but it delivered heartwarming breakthroughs and a lot of holiday joy. Most importantly, we are proud to have exceeded our preset annual goals. In 2019, 1fur1 impacted the lives of 10,402 children and seniors with disabilities by providing 1,999 free animal assisted therapy and activities. December Impact Summary:

• 4 Therapy Mini Horses in Florida helped over 250 seniors and veterans with disabilities feel joy and purpose.
• 12 Therapy Dogs In Schools in St. Louis delivered 34 visits across seven facilities and impacted the lives of 218 students with disabilities.
• 4 Therapy Mini Horses in San Diego helped 3 children with Autism grow their social skills and experience love of animals.
• 11 Canine Advocates in Michigan provided assistance to 395 crime victims and family members which includes court hearings, forensic interviews, counseling and other community engagements.
